Hello and welcome to our first ever newsletter. We wanted to keep our customers up to date with everything new and exciting we have coming up! We’ll be introducing you to new products, telling you about events we have coming up, and you’ll be the very first to know about our special offers.
First things first, you may have noticed we have a shiny new name! Trevor Smith Carpets and Flooring has evolved into… *drumroll please*…
Smiths Carpets and Flooring!
Why?
We have two reasons for the change; firstly we were personally looking for a rug and some cushions that were a little different and struggled to find anything in Weston that ticked the right boxes.
Secondly, over the years we have been asked time and time again ‘Do you know where we can find…?’ by our lovely customers, so we decided that yes, we did know – right here!
Without boring you, we are searching the country for environmentally friendly, unique products, from independent businesses based in the UK wherever possible. So far we have:
- Stunning slate and Olive wood cheeseboards, antipasti trays, whiskey stones, drinks tumblers and more – all handmade in Scotland.
- Beautiful bespoke rugs, handmade by British designers such as The Woven Edge, Sophie Cooney and Jacaranda.
- Stunning fragranced vegan candles, hand poured by independent companies in Wales, Nottingham and London.
- Cosy blankets in a variety of sizes from baby blankets right up to full sized blankets. From a Bath based company, they are perfect for snuggling up under!
- We also have handmade cushions from a local, Bristol based company.
- Classic additions to any homewares range such as Bristol Blue Glass and Poole Pottery.
- Educational toys made on a carbon neutral farm in the North
