Hand-Woven
Each Jacaranda hand-woven rug passes through many skilled hands during its creation. Hundreds of bobbins are wound by hand, then manually wrapped round a warping wheel and onto the wooden looms which are hand-operated with no need for electricity. Even the edges of these beautiful rugs are hand-sewn by skilled artisans with traditional needle and woollen thread.
Hand-knotting
Beautiful, artisan heirlooms that will last a lifetime. Each individual knot is created by hand and we send you a photograph of your rug taking shape on the loom.
All are finished with a hand-sewn edge.
Made To Measure
Jacaranda can make all ranges in bespoke rug sizes. Their inhouse workshop specialises in adding high quality, understated edges to transform our beautiful carpets into made-to-measure rugs. We can add contrasting yarns or bolder border tapes too. Handwoven collections can be made to size in India with a hand-sewn edge. They can hand-tuft custom coloured carpets, or hand-weave them in all of their textures, they have no minimum order quantity.
Colour matched
They regularly match colours to fabric swatches, chromatone™ poms, Pantone references, wallpaper or paint samples. They always provide a colour swatch for customer consent before they begin hand-weaving each carpet, which takes up to 16 weeks from colour approval.
