Sustainability
Brockway is a highly innovative company and that focus on developing production methods that are more sustainable and create less waste. Their Envirobac system replaces conventional latex backing with polymer granules, and our whole manufacturing process is effluent free with no harmful emissions and much less impact on the environment. Keen to seek out secondary markets for their waste products: their carpet edge trimmings are used in mattress manufacture, and they are working with Carpet Recycling UK to turn the carpet dust created by their shearer into agricultural fertiliser. Reducing waste isn’t only good for business; it’s better for future generations, too.
